A growing contractor in Queensland, specialising in utility and civil works, has a vacancy for a Project Engineer in Brisbane. The job is to deliver pipe and civil projects from planning to handover, from drilling setups to slabs and manholes.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for planning and reviewing utility and civil works involving sewer, water or gas
- Draft drawings and specs, with quantities, for tender packages
- Track project programs and spending, and prepare cost reports
- Coordinate with subcontractors, and keep clients, asset owners and authorities informed
- Back up the crews on site with technical guidance, RFIs and variations
- Uphold quality, safety and environmental standards on every project, and contribute to ITPs and SWMS, and to risk assessments
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, already gained
- Hands-on experience in utility, pipeline or civil construction work
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and Queensland water and sewer authority requirements
- Knowledge of concrete, both in-situ and precast
- Ordering materials, and plant and equipment hire
- Strong skills in communicating
- Strong skills in dealing with stakeholders
- Current Queensland driver's licence held
- Full Australian work rights
- Desirable extras are a White Card and AutoCAD or Civil 3D and project software experience
