A Hamilton barbershop run by its owner is adding an experienced barber to serve a growing customer base. You would work alongside the owner and could grow with the business, which suits someone able to self-manage with minimal supervision in a multicultural team.
Hours are 35 to 40 a week. The shop is an accredited employer (AEWV sponsorship), with visa support available if a suitable candidate needs it.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut and trim hair quickly and well
- Shave and trim beards and moustaches
- Recommend haircuts and advise on products
- Keep equipment, the workstation and the shop clean between cuts, and open and close up as needed
- Work under minimal supervision in a multicultural team
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year in a barbershop, with a proven ability to do a quality zero fade and beard trim every time
- Experience using blades for beard shaving, and skill in hair styling and settings
- Well presented and professional
- Good communication skills
