Blenheim is the location for a permanent Caregiver vacancy with an aged and dementia care provider noted for its innovation. The hours are full-time, at least 30 a week, and the pay scale is Level 1 at $23.95, Level 2 at $24.06, Level 3 at $26.16 and Level 4 and above at $28.25.
The employer is accredited with Immigration New Zealand as an Accredited Employer. For visa sponsorship support, applicants must hold a Registered Nursing degree, or a qualification at Level 4 or above that relates directly to caregiving, plus an International Qualification Assessment (IQA).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care in a holistic, culturally safe way, covering communication, mobility, eating, dressing and showering
- Add to care planning
- Carry out therapy plans for residents who live with dementia
- Watch how residents are progressing and pass on any change or care concern promptly
- Maintain resident records that are accurate, appropriate and current
- Back up registered nurses within their scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commitment to a positive difference in elderly people's lives
- Ability to work any shift across a 24/7 roster
- A passion for aged care
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
- Experience in dementia care is a strong advantage
- For visa support, a Registered Nursing degree
- Or, for visa support, a Level 4 or above caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
