The job is a full-time permanent Caregiver vacancy at the provider's dementia care home in Christchurch. The provider is innovative in aged and dementia care. You would work a minimum of 30 hours per week, paid at $23.95 (Level 1), $24.06 (Level 2), $26.16 (Level 3) or $28.25 (Level 4 and above).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care that is holistic and culturally safe, including eating, dressing, showering, mobility and communication
- Contribute to care planning
- Carry out therapy plans for people living with dementia
- Observe residents' progress and report changes or care concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate, appropriate and current resident records
- Support registered nurses within their scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- A genuine commitment to elderly people
- Ability to work any shift across a 24/7 roster
- A passion for aged care work
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
- Dementia care experience is a strong advantage
- For visa support, hold a Registered Nursing degree
- Or, for visa support, hold a Level 3 or above caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
