Carpet & Flooring Installer

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Permanent, full-time flooring work in Christchurch is on offer from a growing, established business: at least 37.5 hours a week and typically 40–42, mostly Monday to Friday with occasional extra hours. It wants experienced carpet and flooring installers, senior installers who can take charge of jobs, and trainees keen to learn the trade; juniors and apprentices are welcome, and more than one person may be appointed.

Senior installers see a job through from arrival on site to completion and direct another installer or a small crew; trainees are supervised and trained on duties that suit them. Customers are residential and light commercial across Christchurch and nearby. Applicants who need employer support (sponsorship) to obtain an Accredited Employer Work Visa are welcome as AEWV applicants, and employment depends on securing the right New Zealand work rights.

A Harare or Bulawayo installer can list floors fitted and any HEXCO trade qualification on the CV. Draft the CV using Build AI CV and keep the layout simple.
