A Canberra Emergency Department that is busy and fast-moving needs an experienced Registered Nurse. The nurse is expected to show clinical judgement, communicate very well and stay committed to safe, effective emergency care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care and to support patients and families.
Roster arrangements rotate across evenings, nights and weekends and come with continuing professional development. For eligible candidates, visa sponsorship is on the table.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess emergency patients
- Plan, implement and evaluate their care
- Provide safe, effective emergency nursing that centres on the patient
- Support patients and their families throughout treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary emergency team
- Work evenings, nights and weekends on a rotating roster
Requirements & Eligibility
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years of post-graduate nursing experience
- A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing or equivalent
- High-quality nursing care that meets professional competency standards, backed by strong critical thinking, communication and clinical decision-making
