Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat emergency patients across the full range of presentations, from resuscitation and trauma to paediatric and mental health cases
- Collaborate within the close-knit multidisciplinary team
- Share the rotating roster
- Cover night shifts as rostered
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse status with current AHPRA registration
- Prior emergency department work
- Triage experience, or ED qualifications such as a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing, highly regarded
- Current ALS/BLS certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Clinical judgement that is strong, and composure under pressure
- Team-first approach
- Able to be rostered on a rotating pattern including nights
