Perth metro area, permanent, full-time: a long-established Western Australian painting business, with over 25 years' experience in the residential and commercial sector, is seeking a Team Leader for its Painting Division. Applicants with painting and decorating experience in commercial construction suit best, and the business wants a proven record of working to an extremely high standard.
Getting details right, delivering on time, creating specialty finishes and wallcoverings and building outstanding customer relations are what the business specialises in. The Team Leader reports directly to the Painting Manager and works with the team across numerous sites. TSS482 visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer directly to the Painting Manager.
- Keep the team motivated.
- Work alongside the team across numerous sites.
- Take charge of projects and of the people on them.
- Come up with solutions when problems arise, or agree a positive outcome with the Painting Manager.
- Keep the environment safe and follow OSH policies, company procedures and induction manuals.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Painter with a trade certificate who must have completed an apprenticeship (Trade Certified Painter).
- Leading hand or 2IC experience, proven.
- Project and team management.
- Communication and organisation.
- Solutions-focused, working with the Painting Manager towards a positive outcome when issues occur.
- Eye for detail and quality control.
- Able to interpret project drawings including floor plans and elevations.
- Manual driver's license, White card.
- Subcontractors and ABN holders are not accepted.
- Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket.
- Desirable: First Aid.
- Desirable: airless spraying.
- National Criminal History Check (current).
