This Dubbo, New South Wales, general practice is recruiting a Practice Nurse for full-time hours, Monday to Friday, in a clinic whose patients are individuals and families. Experienced Registered Nurses are invited to apply for the broad run of primary care, which includes health assessments during home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Back the practitioner up as patients are seen and treated
- Keep treatment-room stock controlled, instruments sterile and equipment maintained
- Educate patients
- Practise infection control and WHS standards
- Prepare the practice for accreditation standards
- Lead other staff clinically
- Triage patients
- Give wound care, dressings, childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations
- Deliver corporate health checks, ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Manage chronic disease alongside age-appropriate and Indigenous health assessments, cold-chain management and staff education
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration and required CPD points
- Current Basic Life Support / CPR certificate or equivalent
- Working With Children Check
- Multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Immuniser looked upon favourably
