Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing for older clients and people supported through the NDIS
- Assess each client clinically, then write a care plan and keep it up to date
- Assist with medicines and report any change in how a client is doing
- Record clinical details accurately and on time
- Liaise with relatives, carers and other health professionals, and back clients in making their own choices while protecting their dignity and independence
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- A background in community nursing, aged care or disability services
- Sound assessment, communication and organising skills, and the confidence to work without close support in clients' homes
- A caring attitude and dedication to safe, person-centred nursing
- Willingness to move to the Northern Territory
