In Inverell, New South Wales, a not-for-profit organisation guided by its values is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its aged care home. Compassion and capability matter here, and you would rotate through morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.
You would give safe, competent and contemporary clinical nursing care, stay within your scope of practice, meet AHPRA requirements and aged care standards, and keep in close contact with the Care Manager, General Manager and care team to ensure high-quality, person-centred care. 482 visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess each resident fully, collecting health and care information from them and from family members
- Participate in admissions and ongoing assessment, and write care plans that are carried out and revisited regularly
- Provide clinical care at the bedside as needed and maintain precise, timely notes
- Manage medications safely: ordering, storage, administration and documentation
- Respond promptly to changes in a resident's health or wellbeing
- Partner with families, carers, GPs and care colleagues to achieve positive health outcomes
- Mentor care staff on residents' clinical needs, help keep the home safe and respectful, and join quality and compliance improvement activities
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration that is in force
- Experience of, or knowledge about, residential aged care and the government standards for delivering it, with an understanding of accreditation and compliance requirements
- Strong clinical assessment, medication management and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be part of a multidisciplinary team
- A National Criminal History Check that is current, or the ability to obtain one, and the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening met
- A genuine passion for supporting older people to live with dignity, choice and respect
