A highly regarded, progressive boutique firm just outside Brisbane's city centre needs a motivated accountant at junior or intermediate level for its tax and business team, and it can offer visa sponsorship to suitable candidates who need employer support.
Clients form a diverse portfolio. Services cover accounting, taxation and business advisory work, charged at a fixed fee with no timesheets or traditional targets. A Senior Manager would mentor you on an ongoing basis, and you would see a broad range of accounting, taxation and business advisory work.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for clients
- Complete income tax returns and BAS for people, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Assist with taxation compliance
- Help with general business services
- Be in contact with the ATO, ASIC and other authorities
- Learn alongside senior team members and see tax planning and business advisory work as you develop
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 18 months of Australian public practice accounting experience within Tax & Business Services
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- An interest in completing a CA or CPA qualification, or already studying towards one
- Hands-on use of Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong communication and excellent attention to detail
- A motivated, positive attitude
- A genuine desire to keep developing your accounting career
