This cooking job at a growing tourist park in Port Hedland is residential rather than FIFO, so applicants must be ready to live and work locally. The park is after a reliable, hardworking cook or chef who is passionate about quality food.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook meals to a consistently high standard
- Hold portioning and presentation steady
- Follow the rules on food safety, hygiene and cleaning
- Assist in stock control, ordering and rotating stock
- Keep the kitchen tidy, safe and organised while keeping waste down
- Pitch in on preparation and service as part of a busy team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Past experience as a cook or chef
- A good grasp of kitchen operations and food safety, and the skill to make consistent, high-quality meals
- Reliable, and able to work under pressure
- Good communication, teamwork, a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willing to live and work locally
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery preferred, though relevant experience may be accepted in place of formal qualifications, and Food Safety Certificate preferred
- Pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
