Cover two venues as Duty Manager: a hotel with a beer garden and a restaurant, in a seaside town near Christchurch. The role is permanent and full-time, reports to the Venue Manager and GM and is about steering operations and front-of-house teams through days that never repeat themselves.

Key Responsibilities
- Steer daily operations at both venues
- Meet licensing requirements and the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
- Direct front of house teams to excellent service
- Manage staff
- Take care of bookings so everything runs smoothly
- Build a warm, safe, professional atmosphere
Requirements & Eligibility
- NZ Duty Manager Certificate (LCQ + Manager's Certificate) that is current, or willingness to obtain it
- Hospitality management or supervision experience
- Communication skills
- Leadership and problem-solving
- Solid grasp of host responsibility and alcohol compliance
- Positive, proactive attitude, particularly under pressure
