This Barista opening in Cairns comes from a specialty coffee roaster in Far North Queensland that has several positions to fill.
It wants energetic, highly motivated professionals who will own the coffee programme, hold drink quality and efficiency, develop their fellow baristas and add to product innovation. The job is full-time, between 5am and 2pm on weekdays, with weekends available.
Employee sponsorship is available for these positions under the Far North Queensland Designated Area Migration Agreement (FNQ DAMA).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the barista team
- Provide every customer with a genuine, efficient, top-tier coffee experience
- Lead QC cupping sessions and partner with the roasting team
- Contribute to green bean purchasing selections and production roasting
- Maintain WH&S standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Specialty coffee experience with in-depth knowledge, where Q-grader, cupping, barista competition, barista training or roasting experience is highly advantageous
- Leadership and team-building skills that are proven
- A love of people and customer service, with strong time management and organisational skills
- Growth mindset and willingness to start at 5am
