A mid-sized Adelaide cafe in the inner west, known for flavoursome dishes and a fresh approach to service, is recruiting a passionate, experienced chef for its kitchen. Hours are full-time but the basis is casual.
Previous chef experience in an established cafe or restaurant counts for a lot, as do strong communication skills, stock control and ordering experience and a liking for great customer feedback. With an open kitchen, a presentable and tidy appearance is vital. Candidates must have the right to work in Australia without restriction. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate who shows leadership and great communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen on the head chef's days off.
- Produce excellent food in an open kitchen.
- Handle stock control.
- Handle ordering.
- Work in a positive, motivated team.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef and a proven record of exceptional dishes under time pressure.
- Commercial Cookery qualification.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
