Key Responsibilities
- Put together a wide choice of creative dishes
- Take care over how each dish is presented
- Hold food quality, presentation and service at the highest standard
- Help the Head Chef create new menu items
- Rework recipes already in use, alongside the Head Chef
- Stick strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Be responsible for your own station
- Keep the kitchen running well
- Mentor junior kitchen staff and attend team meetings and training sessions
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant of high quality
- Formal culinary training, or a hospitality qualification that is relevant
- Excellent cooking
- Careful attention to detail and presentation
- Thorough grasp of food safety and hygiene
- Good teamwork and communication
- A love of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Adaptable, and able to do well in a busy, high-pressure kitchen
