Chef de Partie
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Queenstown, New Zealand · Full-Time · $32 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
A permanent, full-time Chef de Partie can start immediately at a mountain hotel in the Southern Alps, a short way from Queenstown. The week is 4 days long, covers weekends and nights, and adds up to at least 30 hours. The summer season ends in mid-April 2027, and that is when the minimum commitment ends.
The hotel has won awards and runs plenty of functions and weddings, so it values a flexible cook with broad skills who likes pace. Applicants must have worked at least 2 years in a comparable fast-moving kitchen, and Kiwi / western cooking is a must. Citizens and permanent residents get preference, as do people with 6 months or more on their work visa. Sponsorship may be available to the right candidate.
