Chef de Partie

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Whangarei, New Zealand · Full-Time · $32/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Running a section in a quality hotel kitchen is the role of Chef de Partie at an iconic Northland waterfront hotel, which wants passionate chefs for permanent, full-time positions of 30 hours a week. The kitchen team backs its cooks and keeps professional standards, built around fresh seasonal produce and steady quality.

Your job is to keep your section stocked with the right amount at the right quality, and to see that every part of a dish meets the standard and reaches the pass on time. Having New Zealand work eligibility counts in an applicant's favour, but the hotel may consider sponsorship for someone suitable.

For Harare or Bulawayo chefs, the CV should say which sections you have run and what kind of kitchen it was. Create your chef CV with Build AI CV and keep each kitchen role short and clear.

  • Contribute ideas for dishes, and put forward new menu items if invited

  • Prepare the amount of raw materials and stock that demand needs, wasting nothing
