Valid Australian work rights are required for this Chef job at a golf club in Shepparton, and candidates need to be qualified, passionate and highly motivated. The kitchen is busy and growing, and you would work with the head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands under the Head Chef.
The club is in a thriving regional tourist town with every facility for comfortable living, and an immediate start is available. Sponsorship may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare menu items
- Train and supervise newly appointed or less experienced staff
- Follow hygiene regulations and check dish quality at all stages
- Delegate to team members and supervise cooks, assisting where needed
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Support the current kitchen team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience and qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert 3 or higher)
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
- Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends to support a 7-day operation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised and in a team
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements and valid work rights in Australia
