Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482) support may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term candidates, depending on business needs, individual eligibility, satisfactory work performance and applicable immigration requirements, but it is not automatic. Motivated, reliable, hardworking cooks are what the group is after. The role is for applicants already located in Australia, willing to work at their allocated restaurant and ready for possible initial training in Port Macquarie.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce Vietnamese and Asian-style dishes that meet restaurant standards
- Deliver steady quality, presentation and portion sizes
- Run food prep
- Keep stock rotating
- Keep the kitchen clean
- Stick to food safety and hygiene procedures
- Move fast but carefully through lunch and dinner services
- Work alongside kitchen and front of house colleagues so the day runs smoothly
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial Cookery qualifications or experience in professional kitchens
- Experience in Asian cuisine kitchens is highly preferred, above all Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or other Asian restaurants
- Having prepared noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals is an advantage
- Can work independently and cope with busy service periods
- Dependable, punctual and committed to high standards
- Flexible on availability, weekends included; must be currently located in Australia
