Guiding the junior team, backing up the Head Chef and running pan, grill and cold larder: that is the senior cook or chef job at a busy country hotel pub in Dubbo. Days, nights and weekends are all part of the roster.
Sponsorship is available for the right candidate. The hotel wants people already living in Australia who can come in for a trial.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and serve as the menu, recipes and Head Chef require
- Control stock and wastage
- Show techniques to juniors and advise on procedures
- Direct kitchen attendants and apprentices on shift
- Keep the kitchen and storage hygienic under food safety law
- Check supplies and deliveries for quality
- Prepare for special diets and help plan menus
- Follow food handling procedures and report incidents to the Head Chef
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 5 years' hands-on pan and grill section experience
- Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery
- A skills assessment for cook or chef
- Living in Australia and available to come in for a trial
- Flexible and available for days, nights and weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication
- Calm and reliable on shift
