In central Christchurch, a stylish and popular restaurant with an aquarium and a modern Asian menu is looking for four experienced waitstaff. It values outstanding customer service, food and beverage service through its selling system, and a team that shows personality, has fun and notices what guests need.
Hours are permanent and full time, at a minimum of 30 a week, covering nights, weekends and the busy summer months. As an approved accredited employer, the restaurant can sponsor and assist workers through the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests positively and tell them about the menu and offerings
- Attend in-house training in beverage, food and service, and complete the training modules
- Take orders and deliver them to tables, then clear and reset tables
- Keep the restaurant clean and process orders via the POS
- Process payments, electronic and cash
- Apply NZ liquor laws and communicate with management and guests to enforce licensing, and promote the restaurant's products and services within its policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months in a comparable role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Good knowledge of NZ liquor laws
- Availability: nights, weekends and the busy summer months, with motivation to work hard and learn the offerings and service standards of the restaurant
